Bent but not broken

The new iPhone 6 may bend (not a surprise being made of aluminium), but it won’t break when dropped, reports MacObserver:

The company [SquareTrade] dropped both iPhone models four feet onto a concrete floor six times, and the iPhone 6 came away with only minor scratches on its case. The phone’s screen didn’t crack, chip, or scratch.

The iPhone 6 held up so well it earned SquareTrade’s best breakability score ever, beating out the iPhone 5s. Both new iPhone models fared better than Samsung’s Galaxy S5, too.

Like Antennagate, Scrathgate and others, Bendgate will disappear over time. Apple is a click bait, the more sensationalist your headline is, the more visitors you get.
