This afternoon Apple released, and then pulled iOS 8.0.1. A nine page Macrumors forum thread is collecting the frustration of users that have lost their cellular connectivity and Touch ID on their new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. 

iMore seems to have published the solution to this problem for everyone affected by it. The only available solution apparently is to restore your iPhone via iTunes. Thankfully, all is working fine on my iPhone 5s but I feel the pain of the iPhone 6 users. 

This is unacceptable for a company like Apple. I expect some new job openings will be available after this incident.
