Rejoice in the essential and minimalist Apple software pre-installed on your Mac and iOS devices. The lack of options is not lack of usability, it is on the contrary a conscious effort by Apple to make your life easier.

The message is to not tinker with your tools, just get your tasks over with. Before looking for 3rd party apps, ask yourself what you can achieve with the software you already have. That means getting familiar with it and learn all of its options.
