Appleinsider has posted a great review of the new iPhone 6:
With its much thinner outline, iPhone 6 is a really nice size, although your hand might miss the smaller shape and almost jeweled edges of the iPhone 5 series that are easier to grip while casually laying in bed perusing news or emails or browsing the web. You probably won’t miss iPhone 5’s smaller display however, just as users didn’t look back once Apple stretched the screen for more visual area two years ago on the original iPhone 5.
The move towards a Plus-sized iPhone shifts telephony into iPad territory, but also opens up a new frontier in the other direction: a more personal communicator device that say, attaches to your wrist and piggybacks off your phone to convert data from your apps into Glances.
Basically what’s happening is a shift toward bigger phones to make room for smaller more personal wearable devices.
I am still not sold on the current form factor of the Apple Watch and its functionalities. Nevertheless, I remain curious on what tech companies have in their roadmaps.
