VintageZen’s articles are always a breath of fresh air. In his latest post Linus Edwards discusses the common theme of using the iPad for everything:

This statement pretty sets the whole debate on whether we should use the iPad as the sole device. Surely there are times when we use it beyond its intended use, but I am still of the idea that we should use the right tool for the job. All the time.
As for why so many people want to use the iPad for everything, I think it’s because of its form factor. Its monolithic design, its essentiality, its portability trigger our mind to believe that we can put our whole life, projects, hopes, dreams in it. At least that’s the feeling I get whenever I pick up mine.
Huh, by the way, I’m posting this while sitting on my couch with my iPad and listening to some Spotify random playlist…
