After 27 days from its release, OS X Lion gets its first maintenance update to 10.7.1.
specifies that this update:
- Addresses an issue that may cause the system to become unresponsive when playing a video in Safari.
- Resolves an issue that may cause system audio to stop working when using HDMI or optical audio out.
- Improves the reliability of Wi-Fi connections.
- Resolves an issue that prevents transfer of your data, settings, and compatible applications to a new Mac running OS X Lion.
- Resolves an issue in which an admin user account could be missing after upgrading to OS X Lion.
The update is very small weighting at only 17.4 MB.
No information about any fix for the experienced by many users and improvements in Mission Control.
Interestingly OS 10.7.1 has the second longest delay for a .1 update after Mac OS 10.1 Puma:
