More and more apps these days ask you to store data on iCloud. This means that it’s very easy to go over the free 5GB of iCloud space.
OS X and iOS gives you handy tools to manage the space taken by iCloud documents.
OS X
Go to System Preferences (on your Dock) –> iCloud
Then click on Manage. On the left column, you’ll see a list of applications that have data on iCloud:
You can delete a single document by highlighting it and click on delete. If you think you don’t want any iCloud document in a particular application, just click on Delete All.
iOS
You can do exactly the same operations from your iOS device. Simply go to Settings –> General –> Usage –> Manage Storage.
You’ll see a list of apps that store data on iCloud. By tapping on each single app you’ll be able to see the single documents stored in the iCloud space reserved for that app.
